Our Story
Founded in 2024, Invisible Life originates from Saskatchewan, Canada.
Invisible Life was created by those who are affected by chronic illness, invisible illness, and mental health issues and know all too well the daily struggles that come with them. We understand the unique challenges of trying to adapt to day-to-day tasks, as well as dealing with the health care system, family and friends, and ever-changing symptoms.
Why We Exist
Did you know over 40% of adults in Canada experience a chronic condition? That over 51% of adults in America experience more than one chronic disease? Did you know one in four people will be affected by mental health issues? Ongoing illnesses are more common than many realize.
When you google ‘how to cut an onion’ or ‘best packing hacks’; there is a flood of information and websites full of the best information for you. However, when it comes to information and tips for health and disability-related questions, there are not always a lot of great resources.
Invisible Life provides the best information and tips out there in one accessible place. We are constantly searching for the most relevant information, the best tips, and the latest products that will work for you.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is simple. We are here to help in as many ways as we can. Our website is here for you to gain as much knowledge as you can, find new things that will help improve your quality of life, and know that you are scene, and not alone on this journey.
Our Values
What matters most to us is kindness, consideration, and inclusion. We know what it is like to live in a world that doesn’t always cater to the sick or disabled, and how mainstream products, systems, and tips don’t always work for us.
Our Vision
At Invisible Life, our vision is to create a library full of knowledge to help those affected by illness, no different than popular sites like Wikipedia, or other blogs about travel or fashion.
We want to normalize products, life hacks, and information out there for those who are not able to live the stereotypical life that society portrays. Although our lives may be different than others, they are in no way less valuable or important, nor less deserving of help.
